Insurance adds limits that don’t align with kind of care I want to provide—things like requiring a diagnosis, determining session length, and influencing how long therapy can continue. Working privately allows us to keep things more flexible and personalized. We can focus on what’s most helpful for you, move at a pace that fits your situation, and maintain consistency in care without outside requirements shaping the process. Many folks appreciate the added privacy and continuity this allows.
